Q: Why am I still
getting popups?
A: If FilterGate is not
filtering 99% of the Pop-ups then you may have spyware on
your system that is launching popups outside of your browser.

latest version of FilterGate
(upgrades are always FREE).

I tell if FilterGate is active?
A:
Check that the FilterGate icon in the system tray is green ON and not
red OFF.
note: So that
you don't see previously viewed pages from your browser cache, you
should first clear your browser cache.
Q:
How do I upgrade to
the latest version of FilterGate?
A: While online click
the [Upgrade software] button on the FilterGate 'Update'
Tab.

How do I update
FilterGate with the latest filters?
A: While online click
the [Update Filters] button on the FilterGate 'Update'

How do I report an
ad that is not being filtered?
A: Click on the [Submit] button on the FilterGate 'Update'

I like the ads
on some sites. How do I keep them without turning FilterGate off?
A: Add the web site you like (i.e. www.mybank.com)
to the list in the "Exceptions" Tab.
Q:
Does
FilterGate filter
out ALL cookies?
A: Only unfriendly cookies that are used by advertising companies to track
your movements.
Q:
If
FilterGate is switched off will this effect the adult filter?
A: AdultFilter is not effected by
the FilterGate switch. Adult sites will continue to be blocked even if the
FilterGate icon is OFF.
Q:
How do I
define/change an AdultFilter password?

[adultFilter Settings...] button.
