"Does what it says and more"
It blocks ads, pop-ups, protects your privacy and filters stuff you do
not want to see. Unlike any other filter program I have tried this one
has the features that I am really lookning for. It does a wonderful job
of blocking ads and pop-ups while making it very easy to add sites to a
list so that they wont be filtered. There is also a text browsing mode
to speed up surfing. It is easy to use and customize the filtering so
that it works just the way you want it too or add sites to the 4 bult in
filters that the program has (ads, privacy, pop-ups, adult content). It
takes a bit of time to get the settings running just the way you want
them to run through playing with the settings but once it is there
browsing has never been better. |

I've used several products over the years for popup and ad filtering and
FilterGate is without a doubt the fastest, most comprehensive and
easiest to use. Simple straightforward option dialogs and invisible
operation really make Filtergate a pleasure to use. |

I was just looking for something to get rid of pop-ups and I saw this
and decided to use it and I never used anything like this that is as
useful and very good at blocking ads on websites! A very good product!

I have just downloaded and tested Filtergate, and I have to say I'm
impressed. I tried it with the Mozilla, Opera, Internet Explorer, K-Meleon
and Netscape browsers. On each one it successfully blocked the test
page. I've tried other content filtering software, and nothing comes
close to this. Great software! |

I have used a trial copy of filtergate for some time and it works
without taking over my PC. I feel confidant of it blocking access to
dubious sites. Well done Filtergate crew for a very good product.
